Hover Developers Share New Character Model

French developer Fusty Game is currently working hard on its upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible free-running title, Hover: Revolt of Gamers. Earlier this year the team completed a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign for the Jet Set Radio-inspired experience and has since kept relatively quiet on the title’s development. The silence was broken last week with the release of a new Making Of video for the title, and has now been followed up with a look at an in-game character model.

The develoeprs recently shared an ‘almost finished’ sculpture of Otello, one of the characters from the title. Seen below, the image includes a look at the model from a variety of angles, giving fans a good idea of just how detailed they can expect characters to look in the final title. The current model lacks colouring, though when it’s added it will be in the same cel-shaded style as the rest of the title.

Coming to PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Wii U, Hover: Revolt of Gamers tasks players with performing stunts and tricks around a city in order to rebel against an anti-videogame dictatorship. The title is due to support the Oculus Rift VR head-mounted display (HMD) on PC, though support for the Project Morpheus HMD on PlayStation 4 is yet to be confirmed. VRFocus will continue to follow Hover: Revolt of Gamers‘ progress going forward, reporting back with any further updates.
