Fans of Hypersloth Games’ first-person adventure title, Dream, are currently awaiting the arrival of the title’s third and final act. Recently the developer revealed that the content should be arriving within the next few weeks, and has now shared a small look at it in the form of a new screenshot, which can be seen below. The title’s first two acts are currently available on PC through Steam’s Early Access program.
The shot simply depicts a living space with beds, tables a TV and surfboards hung on walls. Just what role this environment will play in Act III remains to be seen. “Again apologies for the delay,” the developer noted in an update, “we’re a small team and lots of things are happening right now and it is pretty crazy! We couldn’t do this without you and the support both before and on Early Access so far has been great.”
Dream is compatible with the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) although, as the developer recently revealed, doesn’t include support for the device’s second development kit (DK2) due to it not being featured in the current iteration of the Unreal Development Kit (UDK). Hypersloth Games hopes that the engine will be updated with support in the near future.
VRFocus will continue to follow Dream going forward, reporting back with any further updates.
