New Surgeon Simulator Shots Show off PS4 Version

Earlier this week London-based indie developer Bossa Studios confirmed that it would be launching its hit videogame Surgeon Simulator on PlayStation 4 digitally on 12th August 2014 in North America and 13th August in Europe. The title will arrive as Surgeon Simulator: Anniversary Edition, complete with a mix of challenges from both the PC and iPad versions of the title. Surgeon Simulator Dev Teasing E3 Announcement Tomorrow

Bossa Studios, the indie developer behind the immensely popular Surgeon Simulator 2013, has teased that it will be making an announcement at E3 2014 tomorrow, 10th June. The company hasn’t confirmed if this will be a new videogame or perhaps something else. The developer has previously confirmed to VRFocus that it has a virtual reality (VR) dedicated videogame in the works, though also has several other projects in development for ‘traditional devices’. Surgeon Simulator Dev Working on VR Dedicated Project

Surgeon Simulator 2013 developer Bossa Studios has confirmed to VRFocus that it is working on a virtual reality (VR) focused title. Studio co-founder and Gamer-In-Chief Henrique Olifiers revealed as much in an interview, stating that the project had been ‘thinking of VR since day 1′, though also confirming that the studio wouldn’t be turning VR-exclusive. Specifically which VR headsets the project would be coming to was not revealed. READ MORE

Next Bossa VR Meetup is Tonight, Producer Talks Past Speakers, Indies

Surgeon Simulator 2013 developer Bossa Studios is set to host its next virtual reality (VR) Meetup in London tonight. The team’s regular Meetups, held at their offices, play host to a number of speakers that tackle a range of topics surrounding the VR industry right now. A range of indie developers will also be on-hand to show off new builds of their titles with Oculus Rift headsets and, usually, some other devices too.
